First day.

When I woke up this morning, I knew my parents were already having their breakfast. I could hear them when they were up. So the breakfast was ready when I went downstairs. It's good to see people having breakfast other than myself. Usually I just have cereals and off I go to school. Today I had something extra. The pandan cake I bought from Peterborough Chinese grocery shop.

I came home for lunch. Again, seeing my parents made my day. All the hard work at school was paid off. I'm so sure I'm going to miss them when they leave next month. Dad already knows where I store food and what's in the cabinet. *champion* Mum sent me off to school. She looked cute standing by the door, hehe. I miss that moment.

Waited for hours to finish school and I thought I'd stay back for a bit to sort out some work. It was a surprise to get a call from reception asking for me as usually the calls weren't anything good apart from doing cover lessons. So for a minute I was scared to get any cover call, though the school had already finished!!

"Hi, Flora, just to let you know that your mum's here in the front office."
"My mum?? Oh...I'm coming to her now. Thanks."

You see, my mum's really into exploring. While my dad was having his recovery sleep this afternoon, my mum went around town and searched for my school. She's one brave lady, isn't she? So, my mum and I went home together, in my hired car. Fiat's a good car. I prefer it to Nissan now.

Nothing much happened apart from the usual stuff. Oh yeah, they're sleeping like a baby while I'm laying my fingers on the laptop at this time. I think I should rest too. It's been a long weekend and Monday. I need to get some sleep. Having a jet-lag myself.

It's good to have you here, Mum, Dad. I love you.
