Birthday Girl - Evelyn

I like Evelyn, she's genuine and sweet. Though haven't known her for a long time, I have enjoyed the time spent with her, especially those two days on "outstation", hehehehe....We looked like two lost girls in the big crazy world. (OK, we were giving some talks at our mother school la..)

It was after our farewell lunch that we took this photo together. Such a sacrifice for Fayrene and myself, wah....Evelyn, you look so beautiful!!!! hahahahaa.....just kidding there, anyway, Happy Birthday, girl!

Long lost...

I must apologize because I can't believe that I actually forgot about our blog!!! See how big the impact the car was?!?! Anyway, a week's gone and my course is killing me. I don't feel like studying at all. Assignments due now and then. It's been a long time since I was tortured by my professors. It was me, the "tortur-er" for the last three years. Now I'm the "tortur-ee"...By the way, don't quote me on the words. Simply made up, wahahahaha~

Initially I was supposed to be a full-time student but now I've switched to a part-timer. I'm going to work full-time, yes, in the UK! Yipeee~~~I'm going to teach a bunch of cutie-s *fingers crossed* in the next few months. It's unbelievable!! I'm going off for a term. The school is really nice. No school out there would never have an overseas teacher for a term because it's simply costly to do an application for outsiders!!!!! I have fallen in love with the school already. Henry will be staying in Auckland to work. I must thank Henry because he supported me in this matter. So please keep us in your prayer. Practically, we'll be apart for four months before we meet again.

OK, better get back to my research writing, which is due soon~~~~~~~

Transformers...

At last, after slacking for nearly a month, I got to watch my all-time favourite here in NZ. I wonder why it takes so long to get movies shown here. Yeah, I know it takes like a day to travel from the states, but I thought technology should help improve the situation?

Let me brief you a little bit about me and transformer. I could still remember my first encounter of this cartoon was when I was, perhaps, five or six. There was one Samuel Gor-Gor (Brother Samuel) who happened to come to my house very often. Heard that he was my big brother's partner as they were the class monitors. So he always brought the transformer cartoons for my young bro and me. We enjoyed so much that we always asked for the toys given the chance. From our dad, silly, we weren't the suckers you know, haha. Needless to say, we had the truck transformer and stuff. Brilliant. Love it. Sadly, the cartoon somehow disappeared with the vanishing of my Brother Samuel. Perhaps it didn't, just that I didn't know when to catch it on TV as the time went on. So I had been looking forward to it since the first day I watched the preview of this movie. I thought I had lost it but I haven't, and will not!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, tonight, I was definitely overwhelmed by the movie, from the first till the last second. I mean I nearly forgot about Henry's existence, who was sitting next to me. The movie did not kill any of my expectation or excitement the moment I set my eyes on it. All I can think about is how a movie can be this fantastic (hopefully it doesn't over-shine fantastic four 2 :P) yet it still manages to keep us entertained and make my blood boil - not due to the anger, but the excitement. Transformer, you've done it again!

Well, I'm supposed to wrap myself up in the blanket right now in this 7-degree-celsius-room, but this movie just pushes me to log-on and write about my feelings, mixed feelings, so that I can sleep tight tonight!!!!!

So, which side did you choose? To protect or to destroy?

ROSE - Of the Rose Blossom

Today's Rose's birthday. I'm sure she had a great celebration as she has her beloved by her side. Anyway, Rose and I have been friends since high school, though we weren't close at all back then. Our friendship blossomed when I was working in the UK. I was amazed by it myself. And thanks to her for coming all the way back from London to attend my wedding in Sibu during the odd time of the year. I know it wasn't just a penny spent on the trip, but Rose, you know what you did have shown me your love and friendship towards me. Don't puke, OK? ^_^

Let me tell you a little bit about Rose. Rose is a very down-to-earth girl and I love her being that. She's witty, loving and pretty. You see, I have to sacrifice my own image to make her look good (Rose: I need your sacrifice de mer? I'm a natural beauty!!) *j/k* You can easily tell from the photo that she's very sweet, can't you? See how swollen I was back then? Mind you, that wasn't the most swollen moment in my life. (Chloe: No need to fight, I was the most swollen one among three of you!!!). It was taken while Chloe - my bridesmaid, Rose and I dined out at a Korean restaurant in London.

I am very, very grateful for God has given me two best friends - Rose, and Chloe, and they will continue to play a big part in my life, till death do us apart :P

7 things you don't know about me

Perhaps jam got sick of my food entries so he tagged me on this, haha. Actually, there isn't much to tell you about myself as I reckon I'm transparent enough among you guys. Though, there are still some things I don't easily disclose to others, most of them are the things I think I'd like to do or like not.

1. I want to have twins if wanting to have babies. Nothing special, just want to save my suffering time. Of course, it definitely costs more to feed two mouths than one.

2. I didn't want to get married when I was single at the age of 25. Well, to be more specific, I thought I'd stay single and party for the rest of my life, and that leads to the 3rd thing.

3. I wish to travel around the world before settling down, i.e. having babies, if ever. Now, to have this wish come true, that means...

4. I want to earn my first bucket of million before I reach 30. Very funny, isn't it? Sigh, I think I don't have much time left. So, let's hope I'll win the next five million lottery, that's when I start buying it.

The first four statements are all the things I don't normally tell people but something I want to do. The next three statements would be the things you don't know about me but I want to let you know.

5. I have this "sickness", quoted by my family, that I can't stand certain degree of dirty. Generally speaking, I have three "sets" of clothes every day. One set is when I go out town; another one is when I stay at home; the last one is when I sleep. I will ONLY touch my bed in my pyjamas AFTER bath. There's no way that I'd get near it with my other clothes on it. If anyone (including myself) happens to touch my bed accidentally, I'd have to change the whole bed sheet before I sleep that night. Of course, Henry has to comply with my habits. Wahahaha, poor Henry? Nay, I think he's pretty into it himself now, gaggagaga~

6. I absolutely abhor those who think know me so well and start accusing me of things I don't do. That would lead me to a certain stage where I feel like tearing the person apart, literally. If you want to assume something, at least assume it with your brain, not with your mouth. You know, we use brain to think, not our mouth.

7. And NO, I don't act dumb or cute, so Daniel, stop profaning my name!!!

Gosh, I have never spent such a long time thinking about what to write. Jam, you have given me hardest time of all, but again, thanks to you that I get to clear my name for No.7.

Ee Ee & Suen Sien

Congratulations to two of my friends who tied the knot last Saturday, 30th June 2007. It was a pity that I couldn't attend. I wish I could see the smart groom and beautiful bride. Regardless, I still wish the two of you a loving marriage in God.

P.S. Hoping to get a photo of them and post it up soon.
